As the founder of a women-centric nonprofit, helping girls and women ensure their confidence will be built so that, in turn, they show up in the world as your best self, Andrea Primas is known as a visionary, action taker, confidence builder and purpose pusher, and a comedian in her own right.

​Andrea told us, "Growing up in a small town in South Louisiana, there were not many people or programs to help guide and mold me as a whole person. Which in turn caused me to fail and figure most things out on my own. As I’ve gotten to experience college and being a professional for a while I’ve come across some amazing people who have helped me along the way and knew that’s something I aspire to do someday. I knew that I wanted to be that person to connect girls and women to resources that would help them show up in this world as the best version of themselves. Here I am figuring it out as I go and hoping to inspire and change the trajectory of girls and women's lives."

As a member of Sky's the Limit, Andrea has accomplished multiple business milestones working with mentors from across our business community -- including both professionals from our corporate partners, and fellow entrepreneurs.

One of her recent mentors, Dr. Vanessa G. Hall, is a leader with 30+ years of technology experience within corporate and 20 years of business experience. Not only is she VP Portfolio Management, Director, at PNC Bank -- she's an entrepreneur herself, having founded technology company CrossRoads ITG in Red Oak, Texas. Dr. V exemplifies the indelible spirit of a Sky't the Limit mentor: she's often recognized by her mentees for her commitment to  maximizing potential in others by living an authentic life and the way in which she seeks to bring value to everything set to her hands. A technologist herself, she's a big advocate for women in STEM, and a great encourager of female technology founders.

This turned into more people being interested in volunteering and more parents wanting their girls to be involved with our organization!"
